Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê (/ˈfɘlë/ /ˈdëʤɘ/ [bad; evil] [wit]) is a temperate Town located in the Nëpimtrêsë Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê was founded by Khêlîm Shêga Zesmthëm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê receives an average of 269 cm/y (105 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1602 m (5255 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1351, by Khêlîm Shêga Zesmthëm. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê is is constructed arround a series of spacious cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The town's failry decent fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

A look around Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê shows Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê is little more than a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is.

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê's grid is powered by mana accumulators.

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

In Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.

The Cat, Common near Fêlë-dëjê Fêqê are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
